I am an experienced web developer in constant search for the pragmatic excellence which leads to a continuous improvement of processes, methods and tools using lean approaches, web standards and expressive languages and frameworks. Have a natural instinct when finding the root cause of problems, often leading to solve them in the best possible way. I am a strong believer of agile techniques and Open Source, being myself a Rails Core Contributor, and the maintainer of the ExceptionNotification gem (https://github.com/smartinez87/exception_notification). Also in my spare time, I manage to contribute to some other open source projects. I also may have an unhealthy obsession with coffee, but nothing to worry about in the predictable future.
