Matlab - access to Windows XP from Matlab

Hello,

I would like to access to my operating system (Windows XP), from Matlab, this is, what I want is to open from Matlab a window from Windows XP. This window is in the 'start' button --> Configuration---> Network connections

I want from Matlab connect to a remote PC (using modems)and to do that I need to open a window from Windows

I need desesperaly help
