ASP.NET - No funciona el ASP.Net HELP!!

hola, he instalado el asp.net en algunas maquinas, y cuando le doy
new proyect ASP.NET web application aparece un mensaje de error
diciendo "Visual Studio.NET has detected that the specified web server
is not running ASP.NET version 1.1. You will be unable to run ASP.NET
web Application or services"

POR FAVOR PERDONEN SI EL MENSAJE NO LO ESCRIBI CORRECTAMENTE

Creo que tienes problemas con el .NET Framework. Asegurate de que sea la version 1.1
